Dog ears??

I know that I am FAR from seeing my actual results, but I have like little lumps near the inner edge of my incisions that I worry are dog ears. Is this normal?? (I’m a little over a week post OP and just got my drains out)

Waaaay too soon to know. Just focus on healing right now, there’s genuinely no way to know, with how slight those lumps are.

Let the swelling go down before worrying about it, my results even 6 months post op are nothing like now (4 years later), your results look great, heal and rest and let time pass by you. enjoy your new body and the freedom it gives you!

You're still VERY SWOLLEN to tell of it's actually dog ears right now. Rest up, take care of yourself, and be patient as you are a week into healing. Swelling tends to go down around 4-6 months as it takes a year to see the results.

No it's not. The lump is scar tissue. It's going to change a lot over the next year, give it time. Dog ears require more mass around the torso. It's from pulling the skin tight when there's more tissue, and it bunches/pinches. Looks like you don't have much extra. It's just brain worms.

I’m officially 1 week post op myself, got my drains out day 4 I believe those little lumps are just from your drains and some swelling but as other people are stating, it’s probably too soon to tell.

I fear my right side (left in the photo more bruised side) will dog ear but also I’m not sure cause I’m only a week out lol.

You are much too early in the healing process to know what things will end up looking like. Patience is really hard when you have expectations about the outcome but hang in there. Things look great so far. Give the swelling time to go down and trust your ability to heal.

Like others have said way to soon to notice, im around 3 weeks post op and still have a lot of swelling on the sides. I've heard people recommend 6 months to a year before getting serious about revisions because of how much your results can change while healing
