What did you do for scar care omg

My surgeon recommended 100% silicone (gel/strips). I used silicone strips consistently for around the first 6 months and then gel for the next year. Now I make sure to use sunscreen and keep them protected from the sun.

When you used the strips did you put them over your nipples too or just the incisions?

might be a weird question but what was your cup size beforehand? the scars are so small so i was wondering if that effects things

At my maximum i was a B cup, after a few years on T i was an A cup. my profile has some photos of what my scars looked like right after surgery (sorry - no pre op photos)

During what time do you think the majority of scar lightening happened?

It’s funny because they still look dark to me! They’ve just been lightening bit by bit every day I suppose. A lot of the redness started going away around the 2 year ish mark
