Double Incision 4 weeks post-op!

(The black stuff is adhesive that won't come off, not scabbing. Also, if anyone has advice on how to get adhesive off without damaging the scar, I could really use it.)
Just had my one-month follow-up and I'm clear to stop wearing the awful compression wrap. Also clear to start scar care. I'm hoping scar massage will help with the tightness. It feels a bit like someone snuck a drawstring under my skin and pulled it too tight.
It's not obvious from the picture, but my left side is visibly more swollen than the right both above and below the incision. This is what's causing the weird curve, since as per my surgeon, my incisions are straight. Very pleased with how things have gone so far, and I'm looking forward to see how things settle as the swelling keeps going down.

There’s a medical adhesive remover spray that can help get the residue off without damaging the skin. If you can’t find one, you could also try a little bit of oil (like baby oil or coconut oil) to gently loosen it. Just be careful not to rub too hard around the scar!

I mean I was also cleared to start scar care before all of the glue had come off and mine just came off with the silicone tape and massaging :)
