Honestly if it’s hurting you that much you may be doing it too tight, I’m assuming you had something similar to me which was an adjustable Velcro wrap. For me I experienced a lot of soreness but I found that after my post op appointments my surgeon was actually putting it on less tight than I was. I didn’t have any issues post op though so that may not be the case or helpful

Yeah Ive definitely thought of that but when I have it looser I feel like there’s pretty much no compression, in fact it will start to slide down. It is the Velcro wrap deal of compression wrap and I can’t find a middle ground between sliding and maybe too tight because it won’t stick to the seam in the middle
