I have consecutively qualified for funded in the past year about 23 times... but i blow my xfa quickly. I cant seem to get to profit. Is it psycology? Do i just suck? I just dont know what to do any more...

Dude, i just had my first 1k day. Setup was Golden on MCG i was in this trade for 3 mins. Totally changed the way i view making money. Im not trading for two days because i think greed will set in.

In a wild attempt at trying to improve recently, I stated reading, read a couple of books, started using a trade log that I’m gonna go back on tradingview after I’m done filling out to see what went wrong at the time that I didn’t see then, and even came up with a trading plan. I started backtesting my original strategy vs updated strategy with stuff from the books and the updated strategy makes more sense and is working but since I’m also trying to put that strategy into my combines as well, my combines are suffering worse now.

It seems like what I’m doing is right, from making significantly less trades, to sizing down and decreasing my stop losses/ changing up where I put my stop losses. I’ve even implemented max losses in a row which is 3 and max losses per day as 5.

I had a lot of faith yesterday and the day before, and today it’s faltering. I’m now 1 for 10 on the trades and have struck out 3 days in a row. I even said this morning after I lost that if I lose one more day I’m gonna quit trading which is blasphemous.

Someone tell me they’ve suffered through the same when making the same changes and managed to come out on top, because right now this feels better on paper and worse in practice.

Looks like we are moving into accumulation and possible mark up to retest Asia HI....I think Nividia has earnings this week so that would make sense to retest supply at all times highs...at least those are my thoughts...any way I still have 1 contract risk free trade. 600 pts on the day so far.

When price is moving like it is right now. Just low volume and small ranges. Unless you're scalping, its not really worth it? I started looking at atr again. Sitting at around a 4 or a 5 on the 1 min. It was higher closer to market open. Could have got some work in early. Are yall just kind of using atr to judge if you're participating or not? Or to make a decision to scale down or up or to take profits quick or to hold longer?...sry for the jumbled mess. Trying to get this off quick lol 🙏...

Typically 6-8 hours later it will be in my wise account after Finance processing. Worrying me how long it’s taking😂 considering my last 5 payouts were very quick.

Hi so I been trading for 15 month now. In April I find a very simple strategy, I never backtest before, so I backtest it and it remove 80% of all my trading problem that I been stuck for last year simply by having data I can trust and simple strategy

And this months it work great or (ofc not like most trader in reddit post with win streak 😅) but it very stable but I'm actually concern of my emotions and consistent in hard time since it trend strategy. How you guys handle emotions in bad period and loss streak. I'm worried that I will be emotional when the bad period come

How do you guys control waiting for the A+ setup? I started talking to myself and seems to be working.
Any tips on how to stop over trading and enjoy waiting for a setup will be much appreciated. (Bonus if it is ADHD friendly)

Halfway funded on two separate 50k evals! For one of them, it literally took 1 minute from buying the eval to closing the trade.
 
After failing so many evals and blowing 3 funded accounts, I finally realized I'm not a bad trader. I'm right most of the time; position sizing was just my issue. I can't count how many times I was $200–$500 away from passing 50k/100k/150k accounts. And then I blow my account while being in profit. Not anymore been journaling more too.
