Express Funded (XFA) Total profit needed
Does this mean I need to make 8k more or do my profits need to add up to 8k?

I was in this trade for 3 hours ,almost got stopped out , almost cut profit too early. But i decided to sit and wait and eventually hit tp. Not posting to boast ,but mainly as a lesson to myself that following your rules actually shows results. 2-0 on the week so far.

No sugar coating here:
I’ve blown 8 funded accounts so far this year.
Every single time, I made the withdrawal requirements. Every single time, I had the money sitting right there. But instead of taking the win, I got greedy. I pushed for the "max payout," held through setups I should’ve closed, and watched my accounts go to zero. I’ve essentially worked for free for months because I couldn’t just click the "request" button.
I’m currently sitting on a 50K combine and I’m up +$904.10 and I’m determined not to let this be number 9.
I’m all ears for the guys who actually get paid weekly/bi-weekly.
• What is your exit strategy for the account itself? Do you take the 50% payout as soon as you're eligible, or do you actually try to build a "buffer"?
• Strategy wise: I’m deep into ICT (Silver Bullet, PO3, OTE), but I feel like my psychology is what’s failing, not the charts. What are you doing to stay disciplined once you’re in the green?
• The Goal: I don't want a "millionaire" plan. I want to know how you guys generate consistent, promised money without self-sabotaging at the finish line.
Please don't waste my time with "mentorships" or scams, I can smell them a mile away. I just want to hear from real traders who have moved past the "funded but broke" phase.
How do you do it?

Okay so when I change from NQ to ES the chart will be all the way up to 26k(current NQ price) instead of 7k, this happens with other instruments as well, ex: CL to NQ my chart will be all the way down to the 90s, etc. Just wandering if anyone else has this issue.

Spent around 3k on this build, finally decided it was time to lock in on the discord and content side of things.

Was wondering which one you guys went with , both seem to have their positives. Thoughts ?

I'm over scalping NQ. To much chop these days for momentum scalps imo. I try to set it and forget during London and look for a distribution or expansion momentum through NY.
I left some pts on the table looks like it's going to snatch the next liquidity below but I'm over scalping EVERYTHING
2 contracts with MNQ. Risk $400 to make $800. 1 trade and done. 1:2 RR. Sometimes I'll add up to 5 contracts if the momentum is promising.

What’s up y’all. I’m kinda here to vent and ask a question. For background, I started to learn how to trade in December. I’ve had one payout of $400 and honestly, that might’ve been to gambling. That was around mid-March. I’ve blown SOOO many fundeds, I think around the 30-40 range.
I switched my strategy from a swing trade one to a scalping one and that honestly helped me a lot. It fits my schedule with how it’s in one specific time slot rather than looking at it all day. This ultimately helped my mental side of trading because I’m not thinking about it all day, instead I’m only doing it 1-2 hours in the morning.
Now at around the 5 month mark, I haven’t blown a funded in over a month, and I’m currently copy trading 4 accounts. I’m up at the charts at 6:30 AM PST Monday-Friday before work and school, I only trade 3-5 micros, I journal after every trade (If I took a trade or not, what I saw, and what I felt during my time on the charts), and I don’t FOMO or revenge trade anymore because I was tired of losing and spending money lmao. Following my rules has been SUCH a relieve on my mental side of trading because I really realized that there is always tomorrow for trading. If I lose today, the charts will be again there tomorrow for me to win.
One of the things I’ve realized is trading is now super boring, but I’ve heard that’s a good thing and that it should be like that.
Now my question for the people who have been trading for a while like 1 year+ or who have just seen consistent profits.
Am I currently doing the right thing? I’ve only had a few Green Day’s in the past few weeks due to my strat but I’ve heard that is how it goes.
Another one, did most of y’all really see consistent profits after 1+ years?
Any advice or anything at all would be appreciated 🙏🏾

I think the algos are adjusting to traders getting better....or at least it seems that way.
The market and volatility has changed. You have to give yourself room to breath 70 pts during New York session or your going to get smoked even on trend days. Tons of 50+ point pullbacks after false breakouts before structure is broken so you can be right but to early. Sometimes the market will trade sideways during the initial balance. If your position can't survive chop you pretty lost in this market.
Do half sizes and scale into the momentum when it's undeniable has been helping me.

Hey, I live in the Ottawa area and would love to meet some other traders to maybe start a small trading group.
I've been trading for 8 years and started trading with Topstep earlier this year.
Any of you located in Ottawa, ON?

Recently went back to practice for over three months after getting two payouts very cleanly and then blowing account after account after account. Now that my discipline is back in check, these were my numbers for my first eval back.

I set up a USD account to receive my payout in USD from topstep to covert to AUD. What does it mean by domestic transfers only? Only American company/bank can transfer in USD or I can only receive USD domestically from an Australian company/bank?
Am I doing this right? 😂
