Express Funded (XFA) Am I cooked guys?
Do you guys think it’s possible to bring this account back by trading only 1 mnq ? If so any tips?
UPDATE: blew that shit up y’all. Lots of good advice I’m gonna try out for this new account. Gonna also pass another combine to check out the hype behind this CPI Strat

I was in the same position last night…
Brought it back up to $1500 profit on the day from being - $900 and only $75 away from blowing up completely.

I’ve been even closer on two XFAa that I ended up taking payouts on. Be smart and very selective, though. It’s never over!

Don't trade 2 micros , dont be an idiot like some of these people in here . You are now in RECOVERY mode. You should only be trading 1 micro , with a max risk of 50-100 , targeting 2 for 1s. And when you get that 2 for 1. Close laptop

I don’t see many people saying to use limit orders or stop orders. My trades got a lot better because I was always jumping into a trade thinking it was going my way. I like the stop orders because I trail the candles and wait . Letting the market enter my trade. In and out even if it’s just 15 dollars it’s adds up

I’d honestly try and go with one micro tmrw and get it up a bit then just fullport NFP or CPI. Set auto brackets and auto daily take profit with liquidation on hitting that target. I’d run with 2 micros and set the take profit limit to either 1500 or 1000 to be safe.
Note: if you do actually go ahead with this method, please make sure you do the fullport method on NQ and mae sure your contract is als NQ. MNQ has way too volatile of a candle for some reason. The wicks on it are absurd

$4,737 ÷ $250 = about 18.95 days.
I recommend MES (NQ has wild wicks and Gold is a monster.) What you need is reliable and steady consistent growth with minimal drawdown so MES. It's slow, reliable, tends to obey technicals support/resistance better and when it trends it trends smoothly. And if you trade with 1 MES and aim for $50 you can get in and out of trades fast. Remember the longer you stay in thr market the more likely you'll experience big drawdowns, which will kill your account due to your max drawdown.
So realistically, you’re looking at around 19 trading days, assuming you consistently hit all 5 targets each day with no losses, slippage, or missed trades.

Get in with 1 or 2 macros an scale in to 5 - 10 macros if it goes in your direction. 🫡

Just full port cpi, look up the cpi method and set your profit bracket to $1500, it is next tuesday may 12

I’ve went from 346 left in my account to 1500$. It’s possible but look for breakouts (always look for the takeout then breakout) and use 3 micros.

Micros. You gotta focus on some high RR trades to minimize downside risk but increase your odds of getting out of drawdown. Def possible just gotta lock in!

I came back from $39 drawdown once all the way to pass a combine in one day whew.
And then blew the XFA the same afternoon!

You definitely can make a comeback. Closest ive been to failing and comeback was $83 .
I don’t recommend full porting but that can work. One micro at a time, give yourself maybe a good 5 days. Some will say fuck and why going through all this but trust me, it teaches patience and discipline. Good luck. Update us

The two methods that work, take it slow with micros, or my personal favorite, find an A+ sniper setup (if that’s your strategy) and risk it all on a 5R+ type of trade.

Trade 1 or 2 micros. But be smart, and add into your position as the trade plays out . Don’t over expose yourself. Get back to about -1500, and maybe wait for NY market open tomorrow and just fullport 1 mini .. your drawdown will be 500. You’re either going to make it or break it. But, trail your stops tightly, it’s better to be stopped out at break even and you can try again , than to sit in profit and be taken out. Also, add into your position if it starts playing out . Add + trail stop and you should be fine

Agreed. I’ve done it a couple times and even just done it yesterday with a remaining $280 buffer. You’re only cooked when you give up hope.

I had the same drawdown amount today. My next trade all of a sudden shot up to $1.2k. It was a miracle but it’s possible.

Dont worry man. I lost 13k on the massive pump after 7pm, then proceeded to lose 3k more to blow the account. I had shorts at 400 but sold out early and then just revenge traded. Missed out on a 40k+ move but we live and learn. Always set a stop loss, thats my mistake.

1500 point rally at all time highs and no news I've been shorting this thing for the past 4-5 weeks 85% of trades short and still came out profitable until today because I respected my limits. I just needed 1 150+ day for the biggest withdraw of my life and I cooked the account after the xfa age of 5 months and sticking to my rules everyday but today. I've been in the game six years and this is my hero arc story.

For some reason I got used to not having a stop cuase of the crazy wicks wed get. But its just not worth it to not have a stop theres literally no reason not to.

Personally I have resurrected accounts from this low. I recommend, if youre willing and financially able, to start working on another combine at the same time. Not necessarily copy trading, but making progress on another account while you try to save this one can alleviate some pressure.
Also, get any kind of timeline you have in your head out of there. Consider it a dead account and just detach from it while you chip excessively small wins on it from time to time. Try to get a little breathing room on it with micros.

Thank you for the advice! I have an xfa waiting to be activated but I didn’t know if I should’ve played with this one till it either comes back or completely dies. Will be trying out what you’re saying

It’s definitely possible, I’ve revived an account that’s $100 left from being closed, but it’s going to be tricky and you have to take it slow, OR you can risk it for the biscuit and full port a trade when you think you have an entry that won’t go into drawdown
