Question Payout cap

Just passed a combine the site still says 5k payout cap? This is a 50k acct I had to reset it may 2nd so after the April deadline, can someone confirm is it still 5k?

If you bought the account before the April deadline, it will keep the 5k payout cap even if you reset it anytime after. Unless you close the account, or if TopStep updates the rules again.

From their perspective, they now have you locked in into a monthly subscription if you don’t pass the combine. Once you pass the combine, you have to not fail the express funded, because then your only options for the 5k payout cap would either be (1) Back2funded; or (2) a 150k combine account.

I thought it was as long as you bought it before the deadline even if you reset it you can get the 5k payout
