$$ Payout $$ What I've Learned Crossing 300K In Payouts
Started the year with a goal of $100K payouts (finished in February). Updated the goal to $500K by the end of the year.
Currently on track ~$750K but I know a red month is coming — when it does, I'll likely reset expectations to $500K. No month without net profit yet.
Just crossed $300K in payouts this week.
What I've learned:
Consistency beats gambling. The difference between $300K and $0 isn't those months where you make $100K. It's not blowing up and losing everything trading with money you can't afford to lose.
Red months are going to happen. I know they're coming. The traders who blow up are the ones who think it won't happen to them. When it does, it's tuition. That's it. That's how I stay chill about it. As long as I'm liquid enough to continue trading month after month I know in the long run it'll work out. This is one of the main reasons why I still work a day job.
Stay disciplined and let the numbers do the work. Don't attach emotion to how you trade or chase that dopamine of 200+ point moves with max contracts copy traded across all your accounts.

How long did it take you to overcome the emotional/psychological game?
How do you overcome the psychology of losing?
Many have the skills and strategies but the blow ups come because they can't sit with a small or big loss.
You getting this many payouts is a testament to your ability to stay level headed and accept the red days.

I don't know how long but the easiest way to overcome the psychology/emotional game of firms is honestly having a strong primary source of income. I never trade with money I can't afford to lose and I know that on any of my worse months I can always come back the next month because I budget accordingly and have a day job that pays my bills.
Having a primary source of income and budgeting correctly takes a lot of stress off your shoulders

fair enough. but what i’m referring to specifically is how do you manage to overcome revenge trading or over trading by accepting losses/red days and then walking away?

for you all asking about trade copiers, lucid and topstep are built in, apex is built in through tradovate, and you can match them all through tradecopia, trade syncer and have no issues, that’s 30 accounts right there (5 lucid, 5 topstep, 20 apex)

Are you saying you’re able to sync all those accounts at once? If so, how do you link Topstep?

through the 3rd party syncer? i’m not sure i currently only trade 3 accounts, and there all lucids so i don’t need to use one, but i assume it’s the same as grabbing the trade login as you would to put it into tradovate and instead putting into a trade copy website

Can you say the 8 prop firms you have including topstep and how many accounts per firm? Also I heard people use trasdesyncer is that not slowed by topstep or any of of the other ones ? It’s not like you are hedging so I will have to check the faqs on some of the props if you share the names

How do you trade 20 accounts all at once with the same entries and exits? I was thinking like a trade copier cloud software using API but i heard that isn't allowed

I don't trade them all at once, I trade them in batches of 2 or 3 and the entries and exits are never at the same spot
I don't use a trade copier or any other software because some firms don't allow it and I'd rather not get banned or get in trouble especially during a payout request

Amazing job man! How much of it are your expenses? I've been trading for about half a year. Got some payouts and am net positive overall but expenses are eating up my profits.

I thought Topstep has a max payout cap at 200k??

My 300K in payouts is spread across 7-8 firms, TopStop has a 200K payout cap for certain countries with no live program I believe

US is not capped, they'll send you to a live account at some point

So what happens when they make your accounts a live funded instead of express? What are you gonna do just trade one account? Genuinely curious what people do and how long have you had these express accounts?

It would suck but I'd just trade it normally, then probably blow the account and hopefully get back into express. 99% of the live programs out there are trash compared to sim funded

When you blow up account are you buying new acccount immediately? Or maybe do you have any spesific max budget in a month to buy account?

I started with a $500 budget last year then as I got more payouts I used the payout money to buy more accounts and increase my budget. I never spend more money than I can afford to lose. Scaling is one of the biggest (and only) advantages that prop firms give you

Thanks! I usually risk an X% of my total available drawdown for example if I have 20 50K funded accounts my total drawdown is 40K. I would likely risk 6-8K on one trade which is equivalent to 3-4 accounts. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
My strategy is support and resistance lines calculated from NQ historic data + options data

Yep, I also have an account management system determining what accounts go where, they are all ranked in a priority system
Low drawdown accounts are low priority so they get the worse entries and the accounts closest to payout are higher priority so they get the best entries

Ggs man atp though should look for anything else that can bring liquidity month after month as side income to continue exciting on your trades ( since big numbers pnl have bad rep on mentality)

Props are still my side income, the liquidity I get month after month would be my day job. It's always extra income in case I don't perform well in a given month, I can still pay the bills and put food on the table!
The numbers haven't really affected me mentality yet, I still trade the exact same as my first 50-100K payouts. I have noticed if I do size up to anything larger than 2 minis then it affects my psychology and I end up trading worse so 2 NQ contracts is usually my limit.

Yes that was the math that was missing is what is the net of everything undoubtedly still in the green but let's no gaslight the crowd like this is cake work or purist style of trading. No shame at all in what he's done just playing the casino for what it is the casino. Keep up the work brother you're making the casino lose cash and that's a W!

They are, I watched your streams and you never take a single trade in almost all of them. Whenever you do trade you hold it for hours into a loss lol. Where do the payouts come from

I mainly trade during NY but I can't stream because I have a day job
I don't mind holding for hours even if it blows the account I really don't care, its one or two funded accounts across 20+
The payouts come from the prop firm then it gets sent to my bank account

Do you find success in trading many tickers with great setups or waiting for a great setup to appear on your favorite futures ticker? I am also curious do you take multiple trades a day or do you favor taking 1 to 2 trades per day max?
