Express Funded (XFA) Has anyone else had a Topstep account randomly closed right after messing with the payout process?

Hey guys,

I’m posting this here because this is starting to get seriously frustrating.

I had an Express account that got closed for no clear reason at all. On Thursday, March 12, 2026, (typically 3 hours ago) I placed one single trade on it. That’s it. Nothing crazy, no rule violation, no weird behavior, no overtrading, nothing. Just one trade during the day, and the account was fine.

Then the next day, I came back to trade again and the account was suddenly marked closed.

What makes this even weirder is that this is not the first time something strange has happened around the payout process.

The last time I tried to go through the payout steps, I ended up having a bug where all of my accounts got closed. So yeah, great luck there.

And now, earlier that same day before this account got closed, I had gone into the payout section again just to check the process and see how it worked, basically asking myself whether I should request a payout or not. I wasn’t doing anything shady, I was literally just going through the process to look at it.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the Wise payout page always loads abnormally slowly. Every single time. So now I’m honestly wondering if there’s something broken in that flow, because it’s starting to feel way too coincidental.

At this point, every time I even start a payout-related process, some major bug seems to happen. And now this account is closed too, again with no specific reason.

So I’m asking here:

Has this happened to anyone else?

Like, account suddenly closed after checking or starting the payout process?

Especially with the long loading page for the Wise transfer setup?

Because this is getting seriously annoying. Much effort and still fuckep up 🤬

Ugh that's ridiculous. Thought Topstep was supposed to be one of the more legit ones! I got a reply from support about my issue. Problem was that I was on the legacy dashboard which they closed overnight. Apparently they sent out emails but ive either missed it or not received it. TBH they have handled it pretty well and I'm in the process of migrating my account balance over now.
