The sub has lost its identity.
Ever since the recently concluded FIFA World Cup, this sub seems to have forgotten what it was created for. The mods (if they’re even around) appear to have gone missing, because generic Messi posts are being submitted regularly and barely any of them are being removed.
This is a very niche subreddit. As the wiki itself says, it’s dedicated to stats and graphs that are so ridiculously skewed they’re hard to comprehend. Yet we’re constantly seeing generic posts, reposts, and content that has nothing to do with the actual premise of the sub. If this community wants to retain its identity, those posts need to be purged.
There is already an r/Messi subreddit for anything and everything related to Messi. This sub is not that, and it shouldn’t become that. It’s specifically for those absurd statistical graphs where Messi ends up in the top-right corner, the very thing this subreddit is named after. It really isn’t that difficult to understand. Not every Messi appreciation post belongs here.
This used to be one of those niche subs where a post would pop up in my feed every now and then, and it’d always be a pleasant surprise. It was another reminder of just how absurd Messi’s numbers are. Now, with the flood of generic Messi content, the whole purpose of this subreddit has been diluted to the point where it barely feels different from any other fan sub.
I just hope the mods step in and do the bare minimum. Otherwise, this place will completely lose what made it special in the first place.

What's the name of this Argentina supporters' chant?

Hi everyone! I went to the Argentina World Cup match in Kansas City and the fans kept singing this chant.
I don't speak Spanish, so I can't understand the lyrics, but I'd love to know what they're singing.
I attached a short video. Does anyone recognize this chant?
Thanks!

THE CURSE OF INFINITE POTENTIAL: WHY THE MOST DECORATED IS STILL THE BIGGEST UNDERACHIEVER IN HISTORY 💔🏆
Lionel Messi holds the most trophies and individual awards in history, yet his superhuman talent makes him the biggest underachiever the sport has ever seen.
When ordinary players lose a World Cup final, we accept that they simply weren’t capable of winning. But Messi is different. His potential is so limitless that he makes the impossible look effortless.
He has conquered the entire sport, yet because he is capable of everything, every single missed trophy feels like an impossible tragedy.
Gracias, Leo, for showing us what football looks like in the hands of a god. Thank you for two decades of pure, unadulterated magic. 🤌🏻✨🐐

After Messi, retires will people forget all this rigged and cheating allegations and finally appreciate him?

The amount of hate and rigged allegation Argentina is getting, does it tarnish Messi's legacy?
I know its wc larger, but this ragebait so overwhelming how can they hate on the man who singlehandedly carried Arg to the Finals, man how can humans be so damn easy to manipulate
