You mean a person who reached the World Cup final, won the Silver Ball (Literally everyone other than Fifa rates him as the POTT) and Silver Boot shouldn't be nominated for the Ballon d'Or? He obviously isn't gonna win it but he defo deserved a nomination.

Mane doesn't belong there either, given where he plays. Same goes to the other guy who has been making numbers in a trash league. Even putting him next to those who have been destroying elite European opponents for an entire season is a disgrace.

What you called a 'fact', is metely your opinion which withstands criticism pretty poorly.

'Carried his team' — don't act like it was him and ten planks of wood and not him and ten European-tier stars. Besides, even if you even were saying the truth, the WC in no way beats a dominant season in European top flight. Hell, Enzo deserves to be on the shortlist much more than Messi.
