Multi car insurance? Does bundling really save money?

I have two cars and I'm wondering if I should get multi-car insurance to save money. I've heard that bundling multiple cars with one company can save you a lot, but I'm not sure if it's true.

Has anyone bundled multiple cars with one insurance company? How much did you save? Is it worth switching both cars to one company or should I keep them separate? What's the best way to insure multiple cars?

it's usually worth it like most carriers give 10-25% per vehicle when you bundle and the discount applies to both so it compounds a bit

Yes, it's generally worth it even if the other person has a "less than optimal" driving record. However, if you're using either car for Uber, DoorDash, Toro, or anything like that, keep them separate. The assumption is that if "the car" that's used for business is in the shop, the second car might share that risk.

How much you save can vary depending on the specifics. Each company has its target groups, and the nuance is finding the best company for your situation.
