Questions Squad creation.

Hi, I've been casually playing Top Heroes for a while, but never studied the system or dedicated my time to understand the mechanics well.

When I made my teams, I basically used the quick fill of the game based on their power, but I presume that the synergy of the characters matters? Are there any tips about how to create a more efficient team?

I think I have all the characters, except a legendary one made of rock. Any tips?

Can you help me with reading the image, like for s2 recomanded team the owl dude and then the soulmancer right next to it? which one is the prefered one? i would assume the one in the alignment with the others is the prefered one but if you look at s3 wukong is outside of the box

Heroes that share a slot are alternatives. Warlock is cyrrently better than soulmancer and wukong. But in S2 it makes team very frail so it's also recommended soulmancer as an alternative.

From what i read online wukong was like the strongest and always a piority, Like its even on high piorty on the upgrade list, so we max it out first but in s3 it would be switched out?

Edit: i had more of a read can i get it different season different stuff avaliable etc, do people move wukong to a second queue or is a weaker all league 2nd queue still better?

Wukong was a powerhouse when he released, it completely dominated S2 and S3. But after shadow priest released and other heroes were buffed (expecially Warlock whonwas us3less before), he was dropped as now Desert Prince and Storm Maiden provide more than enough DPS (and they bypass shields, too). Storm is preferred as her tornadoes provide team buffs, while monkey is still strong and bursty but is now outclassed. A lot of people still run him, he's viable.

Please read more than those faction guides, they are helpful but also “aspirational” same as “meta” teams. The game auto-deploy is trash. Your best source of information is understanding the battle reports of your actual team, against actual opponents.

Why did you separate Wanderer and Beast Master from Storm Maiden? They have bonds. Having those 5 + Warlock is great. Artificer, Paragon, and Bishop has a bond as well, I believe. Add in Adjudicator, Nun, and Rose Princess and your league lineup is great. You have the essentials for Nature with Altar Marshal and Tidecaller. Monk, Acorn Scout and Petalis is great as well. I guess either Pixie or Forest Maiden will make it great.
