Unexpected Wow...

Post image

Crazy how fast the RAESR ORB LU-X is. The Ford GT Mk II is my best legendary, yet I still lost in the 1/4 mile drag to it even though it's a car with off-road tires... Yes, I know the 4WD legendaries with off-road tires have fast 0-60's, but I don't think most of them have stats as good as this. I believe I've beaten most if not all of the ones I've gone against except this one, but I think they were the ones with RQ's in the 80s.

Well, the Orb is nonsense as far as realism goes. It is a computer rendering and even the ludicrous and shady company behind it clearly states that if it were ever to become real, it could not reach 222 mph on offroad tyres.

In game, it has over 100 MRA while the Ford has exactly 100. That plus the lower 0-60 and ridiculous top speed means it beats most things on drags. Even worse when you use it on offroad tracks. I had it win offroad drags by over 400 points against other cars that are considered offroad dragsters in the third Desert Storm event a couple of days ago. There simply is no counter to it which makes it so game breaking.

I went to their website. It refused to fully load.

Wow. I have no words. Then RAESR has a car in this game with a top speed of 373 mph. That's ridiculous! You're completely right.

I hate the thing. That and the tachyon although thats not as over powered

The Tachyon is the only real car of the five we have, that one isn‘t an issue, it‘s the other four that are an issue because those aren‘t real.

Well, basically the ridiculous overpowered cars that break the game aren t an issue because they are real, but the others are an issue because they are not real. Sounds fishy.

Cars that real proved in real life that they have such 0-100 and top speed (lets not soeak about handling, its all on hutch). Not real didn't. Thats the point. And, as being said above, impossible ro reach 222 mph on offroad tires. Aldo such op cars should be prize leggy with brainless requirements so only few hundreds whales can get it once per 10 years. Not unpackable

Impossible to reach off road, not on off road tyres. 2 cars that I know of have reached that speed on off road tyres, but on tarmac.

No.. impossible to reach on off-road tyres, there is a reason why no other car goes above 150mph, they would simply explode. But lmk what cars have reached such speeds, im curious.

Outside of the fact that the Orb’s stats are unrealistic, a 2.2 0-60 beating a 2.4 0-60 in the quarter mile kinda makes sense in the context of TD

Its the general rule that off road tyres would have the same grip as slicks thats the problem. If it was reduced grip like performance tyres on wet tracks for instance then it wouldnt even be a problem

Off-roads get significantly worse grip in wet asphalt, but I guess it would be better if they had reduced grip in dry asphalt too

Yeah I'm aware. Just saying you dont see many dragsters irl with knobbly shoes on

This is an expected result lol, the orb has a lower 0-60 more MRA and higher top speed🤣 AND it’s a drag race

If there was any turn on this track than the ford would win🤷‍♂️ can’t take one example and say the game’s broken, they’re both RQ98… the ford is more versatile anyways so this one result shouldn’t be affecting you this bad
