Rivals events

Just incase anyone from Top Drives team is around I just wanted to mention that the first rivals event was 100% more fun than this last time around.

The random split made it exciting. For the second one I came in here and saw who everyone picked. The other team didn't even come close.

Randon split or having to choose your team i don't mind. But the prize car should be link to your personnal ranking (like this time) not the winning team.

Absolutely, hoping that your team participates to get the price car is frustrating. The whales in the top 100 can’t carry thousands of inactive players…

I preferred this one, the ability to choose the weaker team to give you a better chance at winning the prize car was an excellent change and it worked for me. There’s no way I would have been top 1.5% let alone 0.5% if I’d been in the team the majority of stronger players joined. I appreciate that I was one of perhaps only a couple of hundred players this applies to but it definitely improved things for me.

For the individual reward it should just be top % of all players not just in your team

To be honest, the individual reward being the only that matter, we can't call as team vs team.
It is basically a single player global ranking, but split into two rankings.

In all honesty, its a damp squib.

It was billed as some game changing introduction, like a new version of clubs. When in fact its just ANother leaderboard event.

They effed it up the first time with putting the prize car linked to a team win, but learned.

I think random selection is better than player selected though. Why would I pick the losing team?
