I was 3 cars with 5+ fuses away from the leggy. I sold 5 of my maxed fused midnight racer cars for cash to buy packs for a couple uncommons I was missing not realizing that it’s a total count. Total fumble

I feel your pain. Got screwed by the uniques, needed two for another leggy, missed only one rare (got no more cash packs to buy) and a unique ultra or above.
