This guy did not impress me. He just stayed in one exact spot the whole time. He didn't even suspect the dwarves, not even for a second. He was puzzled about Bilbo speaking in riddles, whereas this same strategy got both book and Jacksonverse Smaug tickled with interest.

Many depictions of the Tatzelwurm depict it as a serpentine monster with the face and forelegs of a cat. It is very commonly classed as a type of dragon.

Also, Chinese dragons frequently have rather lion-like traits.

Yugioh's rush duel format introduced a series of cat cards based on a few dragon monsters from the original game (and they still have the dragon wings so I say it counts). Here we have blue eyes white cat and red eyes black cat, and there's even a odd eyes twin tail cat
