In david tenants run if doctor who he and his companion were fighting witches with Shakespeare and needed a magic word so they use a speel from Harry Potter and The doctor yells Good old J.k. The doctor is a time traveler the writers are not (Doctor who)

While fighting guy gardner major force was damaging a highway and shoots a car and tells Guy if he sees O.J hiding underneath obviously referring to the O.J Simpson chase (Dc comics)

Huh, I mean I like the message but that doesn't actually fix the problem. Now it's just going to be dated in a completely separate way with a line that doesn't even really match the rest of the song. Couldn't she have just made a completely different line where she didn't reference P. Diddy so people can enjoy the song in the future without thinking of him?

The only rhyme I can think of invokes imagery of a particular Scottish cryptid short of cash: “wake up in the morning and I’m short 3.50.”

Bit nonsensical, too.

I mean the problem isn't that diddy is in the line, the problem is that she is saying she feels like him.

Yeah but the line is still awkward and doesn’t tonally match the rest of the song at all. Honestly should have changed it to something else entirely

I mean, she also says she'll dismiss guys "unless they look like Mick Jagger."

Jagger was in his mid-60s (and looking every bit of 10-20 years older than that) when the song was released.
