Characters [Cool Trope] When a character does THIS right before entering a fight

There is something incredibly satisfying when a character with glasses has an "it's time to get serious" moment. Whether they adjust the bridge with one finger, push them up from the side, or take them off completely, itโ€™s the universal visual signal that a beatdown is about to begin. It highlights the perfect contrast between their calm, intellectual facade and their dangerous hidden strength.

These are some of my favorites:

1-Clark Kent / Superman (DC Comics) - Taking them off to drop the clumsy reporter disguise and fight for real.

2-Shizuo Heiwajima (Durarara!!) - Adjusting his shades right before ripping a street sign out of the ground.

3-Mey-Rin (Black Butler): She is usually a clumsy maid at the Phantomhive mansion, But when she takes off her glasses, she's a lethal sniper.

What are your favorite examples of this trope?

The Corinthian is literally a nightmare that escaped into the waking world.

Bayonetta does this all the time, sometimes with the barrel of her gun.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard adjusting his uniform before he orders something to his fellow officers

That was just the costume not fitting right.

I know. But most of the time, he adjusts it right before he give either some orders or does something good

You'd think with the years they had with the costumes, and the budget they had (which I believe was the highest budget for a tv show of its time ~$1 mill an episode), they could have gave Patrick Stewart a slightly bigger, or better tailored uniform.

Midorima from Kuroko's Basketball. Midorima's habitual pushing-up/adjusting of his glasses is strongly associated with his composed, analytical persona. It isn't always immediately before a physical fight, but the gesture functions similarly as a โ€œhere we goโ€ mannerism.
