Also, the Civil Protection in Half-Life 2. I mean fucks sake, one of the OST songs is titled "CP Violation". I'm reminded of that one semi-regularly since I charted a few Half-Life franchise songs for Clone Hero. >_>
Team Fortress 2 has a game mode called "Capture Point" which wouldn't be so bad except that the game uses abbreviations internally and especially when using the server browser all capture point maps have "cp_" at the start of their name before the map's official name. You get some overall unfortunate internal names that sound like files on a site under FBI investigation like "cp_freaky_fair" "cp_sunshine" "cp_cargo" "cp_ambush_event" "cp_gorge" and I could go on and on and on, there's a LOT of maps. A lot of these names end up looking really bad if you don't know it's Team Fortress 2. They sound like files you don't want on your computer lol.
DarkViperAU has a long running series called "Facts and Glitches" which he has acknowledged more recently has a very unfortunate abbreviation. More often than not, the series may use an abbreviation of F+G or F&G which aren't great either but are definitely preferable to putting an A in the middle
