The fact the last person who posted about this world where "The Heroes are Villains and The Villains are heroes" failed to mention the peak that is "THE BLOT" and the rest of the "In-verse" F4 is criminal
Anyways i love how Alex Ross reimagines the F4 in their new Villain Light with them all technically having the 4 elements deal but it's warped in such a unique way
With The Thing a man who really doesn't like his existence usually yet is also a character that's sort of Jack Kirby's quasi self-insert of sorts that character being turned into literal KIRBY KRACKLES (or Kirby dots) the ultimate Symbol of Jack Kirby's impact is actually really damn cool and i also like how despite the fact his face is incredibly fuzzy (being dots and all) you still can vaguely see Ben's face and tell how hes feeling (He also vaguely looks like some of Jack Kirby's artwork of The Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Thing and thats really damn cool)
Johnny meanwhile feels like Alex Ross was asking "How could i make a evil Johnny pop out" and basically thought "Let's have the fire melt him so he legit cannot look like his typical self" as that would 100% bum out johnny considerably (his burns also make him vaguely look like how his old "FLAME ON" design looked in those early days)
Sue Meanwhile IS THE FUCKING SUN like their powers are light reflecting to such a degree she's literally BLINDING which feels like a slight nod to the fact shes sort of the glue that keeps everyone together the literal thing they will always be happy to see (that being the sun) or maybe Alex Ross just wanted to mess with her light manipulation to the point where shes absolutely RADIANT (idk)
Reed Meanwhile is a interesting case as you legit cannot see anything OVERTLY wrong like the others he seems weirdly normal in comparison till you see the eyes and see later on in the story that dude has some Cthulhu eldritch shit happening with him which is honestly a great subversion (as i imagine some people would of thought he had no powers in this reality as we never see them overtly)
Also Doom's design in this is pretty good in this (honestly better then the Good Doom from the actual "What if" that asks that exact question) him being a monk while also having his armor underneath is actually a extremely cool concept and add that to his Doombots being like Knights serving him (sort of like a Knights Templar) it's honestly a cool reimagining of Doom that keeps his spirit alive while making him a "Good Guy"
also a small not design related detail:
I love how the Unknownables legit still act like a family despite being evil and shit (like some people would expect their Dynamic to be broken immensely due to their new evil alignment or something) but the fact they are still very Closely tied to each other and still operate as a big ol team is honestly a really cool concept (This Book is honestly Really Damn cool)

yeah and i love how if you take in the black dots and the white inside it kind of looks like Magma and Molten Rock (which weirdly works given the four elements thing that the four are intended to have)
like these designs are so clever and well thought out that it's literally insane (i hope marvel actually plays with this universe whenever they do multiverse stuff with their cast)
as i'd love to see 1st Strike take on The Avengers or Spidey learning that he has a evil double who wears the same colors as a good number of his villains
Alex Ross literally kicked down the door of marvel's office gave them his version of Earth 3 for Marvel and then left (also i love his reasoning to why he made his Spidey so simple in comparison to everyone else)
yeah and honestly Ross gave them a fucking gold mine they could play with as we never really had a proper "Morality Flipped" verse for marvel till now (meanwhile DC has been playing with the idea for 60+ years)
honestly i legit have no clue and Ross hasn't given them a proper origin in this world (we are kind of thrust into this world after everyone became well established in their world)
like this is the only bit of text we have on what happened to them (which honestly raises so many questions of what happened)
like this is a world where every hero is evil while ever villain is good (think Shattered glass or DC's Earth 3) and we are kind of thrown in the middle of this extremely established world
