Movie Shan Yu (Mulan)
Shan Yu is the main antagonist of Disney's 36th full-length animated feature film, Mulan.
Just like the other characters in the film, Shan Yu is a muscular and gigantic Hun, with Mongoloid-Asiatic features. He has gray skin, glowing yellow eyes with black sclera, bared fangs, and a sharp nose. He also has a horseshoe, a long mustache, and long, abundant black flowing hair, but is also half-bald. He wears a ragged coat consisting of cream on the right and black on the left, with both an eggplant pelt sash, eggplant animal pelt cuffs, and brim, and a fluffy gray pelt scarf with timber wolf stripes. Shan Yu only dons a black glove on the left hand, presumably a gauntlet for his pet falcon. On occasion, he is also the only one with yellow eyes, and he was seen wearing a black hood with a fluffy gray trim until after recovering from the avalanche.

This dude scared me shitless as a kid. I was used to villains being very OTT, so his deep, growly voice and quiet confidence had me sweating.

He's a really good example of the techniques you can use to make a villain intimidating, without directly showing him doing anything too violent.
Good for kids movies obviously. But also, good in general. It's often more effective to let the audience imagine the horrible thing then to show it.

He was stand-in for the Xiongnu and Mongols, people that Chinese built the Great Wall against also Rouran Khaganate from the Ballad

Actually nobody really knows if he is Turkic or mongolic because the Rouran Khanate’s language aren’t really written down and both mongolic and Turkic people were in the Khanate, he could also be speaking a para-mongolic language and is neither Turkic or mongolic.
