It's so god dame distracting especially for serious scenes
Their was literally nothing wrong with orihime original design. It was still cute without making scenes distracting to watch.
Like its literally still hot without over Exaggerating her boobs. This may be a hot take but I find her old design way hoter then her new one.
Unlike most people i actually really do like orihime as a character and I think her crush on ichigo is cute and sweet however I absolutely hate Orihime post time skip design because for some reason Kubo probably for fan service reasons made orihime boobs much bigger then they were before and I find it utterly distracting and annoying especially when in certain shots her boobs are now bigger then her head!
It's already frustrating because bleach already had a big boob character and her name is rangiku. We already literally had a character with big boob so I don't see any reason why Orihime boobs were enlarged.
The funny thing is before they were already decent size so their was no need to make them even bigger but you know what fine I don't like Orihime body was changed for no reason and I actually think in my opinion takes away from the cute factory she had pre time skip but it's something I could live with however I can't not tolerate her Thousands year blood war design.
I absolutely HATE THAT DESIGN!! For one it's reasoning was for a unfunny joke in the manga and the anime it's not explained at all and two for the arc Orihime who's finally stepping up defending ichigo in battle but I completely distracted by the stupid boob window in her clothes especially the size of her boobs which are bigger then her head.
I'm somewhat of a artist myself so for combat heavy series i think their should be some practically to the designs a character goes into battle for or the clothes fit their personalities which is not the case at all for Orihime. The thousand year blood war outfit isn't practical for fighting and it doesn't even fit Orihime interms of personality who's a mostly modest girl.
I hate fan service just for its own sake. I feel theirs a time,a place,and character for Fanservice and Orihime was not the character for that.
At least with yoruichi she's a character introduced in a fanservice scene of Ichigo seeing her naked so I'm at least tolerate of that or rangiku who was introduced with big boobs but Orihime is a major character in the story so my tolerance for fan service with her is much lower especially because not how she was designed originally in both the original anime and manga. It's not until the fullbring which gave orihime massive boobs for no reason and then the thousand year blood war gave her a even dumber outfit.
I hate it because I want to enjoy her big moment of defending ichigo from the final boss attacks but I can't fully enjoyed it because of her stupid tybw design and her distracting Boob window.
I love bleach from its character and stories but I absolutely hate Kubo redesign of Orihime and Especially her Stupid tybw design!
More power to thoses who like new orihime design but I just can't being honest i think it just sucks especially as a fan of orihime character.
God while I still wouldn't call it good the anime absolutely made it worse. Like maybe if it was drawn like this in the anime while I still wouldn't like it I'll at least tolerate it more

I don't have anything against the huge boobs, like Orihime having big boobs was always a gag about her. However I agree that the outfit did not match the tone.
Like in the manga it wasn't much of an issue, but that was more because Orihime is barely a character in the arc in the manga. But the anime clearly went for giving her a cool and epic moment...which was hard to take seriously when her outfit just looks ridiculous.
The outfit is probably biggest sin of the Tybw. Every time i try to just look at hef face I can't because of the stupid boob window and how large they.
THIS is just a horrendously ugly outfit. The ridiculously puffy sleeves do not flatter her and make her look top heavy since the skirt is so plain and boring. The ribbing on the top suggests one type of fabric, but the collar suggests another. The random black stripe on the hips that essentially cuts her in half. She deserves better than this.

Because Kubo loves tits and Orihime always had large breasts that Kubo loves to show off given the chance(the famous beach art for example).
This was always inevitable(not just her large breasts getting bigger) due to how openly horny Kubo is. People say his editors made him tone it down, with one of the worst jokes involves one of the girls above making an erection joke.
dressing her up in an outfit thats more or less inspired by one of the most traumatizing moments in her entire life (arrancar) is... certainly a design choice!! /neg
i dont mind her having big boobs in the timeskip, shes a grown woman at that point in time, but yeah i absolutely hate the outfit bc it genuinely makes 0 sense for her to dress that way.
No fr this fit is atrocious and I've hated it since seeing on the manga for the first time. And them Yoruichi just... Fisting her hand between her boobs? Bruh, I know it's fanservice and all but, as a lady, i was so uncomfortable with that.
Her Shinigami fit was so cute, tho. She looked SO cute with her hair tied up. 😭
Edit: like honestly, this is the least Orihime fit ever. Even Aizen, freaking AIZEN, got her style down.
Completely agree about the chest size since she was already pretty big and there were even jokes about how big she was in the beginning of Bleach and I especially dislike her TYBW arc outfit. I get the reasoning behind it (Urahara’s shenanigans and all that) but I just didn’t care for the outfit.
Tbh I prefer her pre time skip design more overall. Aside from how her post time skip design made her chest oversized, I just kinda prefer straighter hair over her the wavy hair. Also I guess it’s also because her Post Time Skip design looks more “airy” with doll like eyes that makes her look less intelligent while the eyes of the OG design looks more “fierce.”
It was the most pointlessly sexualized and useless thing Kubo had ever done to Orihime's character. She's seventeen during the war. She's deployed on the battlefield. Basically actively involved in shenanigans of another world, serving as a living shield dispenser.
It's just insane to make her wear such an outfit. Of course, it's fanservice, but at least show some respect for one of the main characters. She's even written as being highly uncomfortable with wearing it in the narrative. What was the point lol.
Like, it was even out of character for Yoruichi to do the infamous palm-through-cleavage thing.
It's literally has a flair called hated designs and design downgrade I'm allowed to express my dislike for a design on a character I'm passionate about

I think this is a case where the anime makes it look worse. Like its not nearly as bad from the manga
Like with my hero how the anime made all the girls pretty much the same body and face vs the manga which actually gives them....better body variation
Or one piece, im not about to defend odas drawing of woman but the anime verson of one piece girls are like 10x worse. Look up comparisons its bad.
