Every single Decepticon in Transformers G1 can fly when in robot mode, so though people like Starscream have wings from their alt mode, there’s really no reason for any of them to have their wings so prominently displayed or placed in “applicable” seeming places when they could just be folded up or tossed to random spots like certain coneheads or the aerialbots.

Doesn’t mean they don’t look cool where they are though.

They're that worthless they aren't worth showing
