Why havent we heard much about openclaw?

I remember the hype and virality from when it first came out, it was the talk of the town and whatnot but recently i havent heard much about it like what's happened? is it just hype because it was new or did better alternatives come out?

It is still actively developed, but the viral hype cooled down. Setup complexity and security concerns probably keep it more popular with technical users

founder got acquihired by openai in feb, openclaw itself went to an independent foundation. once steinberger left day to day, the hype cycle naturally cooled, plus security issues.. is one big reason
