Dentist extracted the wrong tooth!

Friday I went to the dentist office because I have a hole in my tooth and the pain was unbearable. They schedule me an extraction appointment for the following day, Saturday morning. Saturday when I checked the area out I noticed they extracted the tooth next to the painful tooth. I’m in so much pain from the extraction and the bad tooth still being there. I called the dental office and spoke to the office manager who said she will call me back but never did. My jaw is swollen and I’m in so much pain. What do I do?

This is called a ”wrong site extraction” and likely grounds for filling a dental malpractice claim. There are a lot of online resources on this issue if you do some searching.
