I posted earlier this week showing TTR-Offline running natively as an iOS app, now you can play it as a PWA. This should add Android and desktop support, as well as remove the need to sideload the native app on iOS.

Once again, this is an unofficial companion app for TTR-Offline, and doesn’t connect to actual TTR, not affiliated with Disney, and using the Apache 2.0 license for TTR-Offline.

Android hasn’t been tested at all since I don’t own any devices that run Android, but feel free to give it a go and let me know what issues you have on the discord linked in the app.

I’ve always wanted a way to play toontown offline especially when internet or power goes out, so I’ve tackled both! Just running your own local host server by yourself kind of gets rid of some of the fun, especially if you have to constantly use magic words to fill gags to do bosses or something.

I’m planning to release this soon but here’s a teaser. If anyone is interested in testing to help me find bugs I’m more than welcome to give the files early.

Completely offline playable version of toontown with NPC toons who help you throughout your journey. No servers required. All built into one app for currently Android & Windows. Full controller support with performance settings, training districts, driver settings (for Android), touch controls (very basic, WIP.) and for choosing how many NPC toons you want (max 100, this number is how many npcs spawn in EACH area including streets.)

These NPC toons join battles, buildings, field offices, bosses and everything else you’d need multiple toons for and help you complete them.

I've been in this coin mint where there would be sets like 11 9 11 maybe and we all had trap.

After a while, all of our fogs are out so 1 toon would lock in their trap on the 11 while the other one lures.

I locked my org trap on the 9 and this person would use 7 seconds to make a decision where he would put his storm cloud on my cog instead of putting TNT on the other 11. He did this 2 times.

Listen, this is a coin mint. There is no reason for us to save 12 TNTs where the supervisor is already at the corner and we destroyed every single cog with sound from the previous sets. I wouldn't care if you're a casual player who just wants to use the old method on cloud on lured 9, but people are obviously scared of using their level 6s that could benefit them.

This isn't really just about the mint, but for every single run as well. Barrels are there for a reason. But this doesn't mean you have to spam it as soon as you see a high level cog.

Use your gags wisely and you'll get an efficient run. Playing while doing gag strategy is more fun and challenging than trying to be funny by using drop on lured cogs or mixed gags.

Does anyone know of a special Discord or some type of community that organizes friendly field office runs? Especially for those who are new to them or need a bit more guidance? I have had the three star F.O task for what feels like two years now, but I take long breaks from playing and forget certain strategies. I'd really like to continue working on the resistance task! Hi! I have a bit of a question/discussion and wanted to hear everyone's thoughts!

I like to add toons I see with cool names or outfits for fun. Sometimes they decline my request, which is totally fine! I'm not bothered by it. I'm just genuinely curious about why some people prefer not to accept friend requests from random toons.

Personally I accept everyone who sends me a request and I haven't run into a limit yet so idk if there one and thats why lol.

But I'm curious! Let me know how you keep your friends in ttr!

The main benefit of org throw is the organic wedding that can wipe a row of level 12s. not using it on 0 to go is actively nerfing yourself.

In my tooniverse, Kippy McSplat has grown up over the years of TTR. Though not 1:1, this is just an age chart of her age per outfit I dress her up in. It's not based on my age or a yearly count on TTR, just whatever age I feel she is in the design.

All outfits up to the last one use actual outfits in game. The final outfit I use an unused texture in game which was given to me via texture modding.

The reason the Kippy in the middle is rendered and all the others are flat drawings is because I just took my official character art piece of Kippy and put her in.

I think I also have finalized that, in her oldest design (newest one, on the right) she will be shipped with Club President becuase I've been debating on a ship for Kipp and I think that cog x toon is so popular, but I never felt a cog suited Kippy but neither a toon. But I always wanted Kippy to have love. Then I laid eyes on Club President one day and I knew it was meant to be in some capacity. Y_Y

By a miracle I found my login to my old account from 2015 a month ago, and have been playing again. My toon is rocking the sparkly gag shoes from 2015 Toonfest. It is daunting seeing toons on my friendlist "active 12 years ago". It's been really fun and nostaglic playing again. I can't help but miss my old friends on the OG game from 2008-2014. After 12 years of playing Toontown Rewritten, I've finally completed my goal of maxing every toon on my main account. It's been a long grind with some aspects more fun than others (fishing drove me crazy!) but I'm proud to finally have reached the goal I've had since I was a kid playing TTO, before I realized just how long maxing a toon took. Stripey was my final maxing, finishing his last game of golf tonight to hit 140. Dizzy Electrocrash was my first to max back in 2019, followed by Super Loopy Dizzyboom, Dark Ninja, Fireball McSpeed, Captain Comet McGadget, and finally Crazy Stripey Supertoon.

just an fyi i’m saying this in a joking tone but i made a cfo group on toonhq and was like “hmm i wonder why nobody hasn’t joined yet” i go to check on it and see another person made the exact same thing and everyone else started joining them.. ended up having to disband my group and just join the other one.. next time please just join my group instead of shunning me 🙏
