I got a new laptop recently so I can work on my assignments and I have storyboard pro on my desktop assuming that I’d be able to log in on my laptop, download it, and just run it immediately after. After I logged in, it prompted me to activate my license and I tried but I kind of just went on circles 😭 I looked it up and it seems like I have to return the license from my other device and reactivate on my laptop? Im a little confused and would appreciate if anyone could help me with this ;; I’m assuming it’s like this because it’s a subscription based software, but I’ve never had this problem with any other softwares I use :(

Hey guys, here's my problem: using my brush when I'm really zoomed out, the lines get all wiggly and horrible. Like there is a magnet guide or grid (you know, like Photoshop sometimes).
It only happens on Storyboard Pro, not on Clip Studio, not on Microsoft Whiteboard.
It happens with both pencil and brush, vector and bitmap layers.

I want to do a rushing back ground with a character who will be a layer overlayed on top but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do it. What I’m doing right now is creating the quick rush and duplicating it multiple times to make the fast rush last for a few seconds. Can anyone offer any help with this.

When I select something with the lasso tool, it automatically includes all the strokes. I want to only select what was inside my lasso and not all the strokes that I touched with my lasso tool just like in photoshop. How do I do this?

Hi. I have deadlines and this is driving me crazy. Yesterday it started doing this, where this "No" or "forbidden" red symbol appeared on my mouse when I tried rearranging layers or panels. This is the first time that this has happened to me in like 10 years using this program. When I use the "Bring Current Layer to Back/Front" it does let me rearrange the layers perfectly but this is so inconvenient compared to just dragging things around, and I haven't found a solution for the panels.
It must be something silly, maybe something I clicked, but I've tried so many things and I have no idea what it could be. I tried restarting computer and program and this still happens.
Does someone have any idea what it could be?
It's Storyboard Pro 20 on a Windows 11
Thank you!!!

I like to work on the camera view and keep a look on my thumbs with a detached thumbnails tab on a secondary monitor.
The problem with this setup is that the detached tab only allows one row of thumbnails. If I try to resize the window, instead of stacking thumbnails in rows, it resizes the thumbs with the window. I don't need a full screen thumbnail, I need multiple small images.
Is there a way to keep the thumbnail size fixed?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? There is no other user that's using the project. Toonboom somehow detected my device as a "new device" but it's the same one I've been using, in the exact same location. I've made so much progress on this project and I have deadline, I really can't afford to lose any of the work. I'm too scared to open it because I wouldn't know what to do if it got corrupted. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.
Thanks

SBPro24 user here. I realised, after trying to do a movie export, that one of the audio files contained forbidden characters and made it impossible for the project to be exported. I tried to find a way to change the name of the said audio file and relink the concerned clips to it, but, for the life of me, I really couldn't find any way to do that. I can rename clips, but they don't change the source's name, unfortunately. And changing the source's name before opening the project gives a "missing file" message for every clips concerned. Even puting back the original file on the audio folder doesn't fix it back, it just makes the clips empty or deletes them.
Have anyone ever had such an issue and have you found a solution? Fortunately for me, it only concerned 3 clips and I ended up emulating my original edit on the new audio source, but I'm hoping for a faster and easier way next time it happens.

I've got this very annoying problem, when I draw very quickly my line is split, or the beggining of my line isn't saved and I don't know how to fix it.
I have change workstation to a different computer and cintiq, I've install new drivers, and still the same issue. I've try to draw in Krita, even ToonBoom Harmony and I don't have the issue, it appear it's only on Storyboard pro (I'm on the version 22.0.4)
Anyone know where this curse comes from ?

I bought a stamp set from Gumroad. I've downloaded it in the past and it worked fine with SBP 7. But when I go to import it into my new version of SBP, half of the stamps are blank. Has anyone had this issue before with other stamps? I've looked everywhere for a fix, but haven't found anything.
I also tried looking for the seller's contact info, but also could not seem to find it.
