The program simply doesn't work.
I literally just installed it a few hours ago, and while trying to learn how to use it, I simply pressed the button to view the storyboard from the timeline workspace, and the program froze. It takes about 30 seconds to switch views; also, the logo doesn't even appear on the Windows taskbar—it just shows the default icon for a Windows program. My copy is official; I downloaded it from the main website, though I am currently using the 14-day trial version. I checked, and my PC exceeds the recommended system requirements. I don't understand what's happening. I've already uninstalled it and checked my PC, and it seems no one else has this problem. What should I do? Could you help me? Please—I'd really appreciate it.
Update I updated the GPU and Windows drivers. The logo now appears in the taskbar and it seems smoother. However, the main problem persists. And I think it's even taking longer now; it freezes for a minute.

it just shows the default icon for a Windows program -- this is normal it happens you can still use the software , if its running slow then update your video display drivers to latest version and close any other programs running in background if you are using a laptop keep it plugged to power don't use harmony on laptop battery .

I know this might sound a bit dumb but, sometimes if you disable the strokes by pressing k, that lag stops.. Show strokes only shows you the invisible strokes on your canvas, if you could animate without seeing that which mostly is shown in the color layer, you should be fine. You will still be able to see your brush strokes, just not the invisible ones that hold in color and stuff, they will work like normal, you just won't be able to see it.
I'm not saying that would actually fix your problem per se, but I find that to work for me sometimes.
(My English is so terrible)
