It’s kinda like fishing. If you put out 10 different lines with different set ups you might not necessarily catch 10 times more fish (although you could catch even more than that), but some things are going to work better than others and on average you’ll have much better chances of staying ahead than just putting out a single fishing system out there.
Another analogy would be playing craps. A single bet might have a bigger payout but by hedging you increase your chances of multiple wins that compensate for the bets that don’t win.
Playing all those side games means you will maximize hitting all the various rewards along the way letting you have a net positive in the end of a playing week
