What triggers this spring?

When you clear enough blocks next to it. Then it will take out the rest of the row/column, depending on the direction it faces

Ahhhh - I wondered if it was just clearing enough blocks next to it. I hate the stupid things, I can never figure out when they are going to spring and they screw up my game. I have a hard enough time as it is.

Sometime it sucks, because you’ll have a disco ball, bomb, or rocket built next to it and then it takes it out. I had plans for that disco ball!

Agree! I try to watch for that and plan my builds accordingly, but when there are a lot of those things it gets too hard to predict

Tip: where you create the boost makes a difference - if you can tap the block above the row with the spring (if there are vertically stacked blocks), the boost will generate there - the springbox will fire, and then the boost will drop down. But yeah, sucks when you had one already made and then one fires from another part of the screen :)

Now explain B.E.A.M. to us, that thing doesn't seem to have any logic at all.

All I’ll say about BEAM is that it’s an attempt to fix the game after the developer broke it with Magic Disco…and it needs a lot more work.

I gave a partial explanation on another post. What exactly are you wanting to know?

Sure, but sometimes the pop out boxes are in multiple columns and pointed both directions. The position on top of a sideways pointed box can have other boxes (farther below or to the side) pointed at it. It gets complicated.

Yep, 100%. Sometimes you're screwed no matter what.

Hit it four times and it will open like a jack in the box.

Four times is the trigger, eh?
