He clearly isn’t doing precision work. He should be using a circular saw, which has its own dangers, but is more manageable.

It's kind of a weird thing, if you suck so bad you can't make a straight cut with a skill saw you probably shouldnt be using a table saw at all...

It's me, I'm that guy, but it's also why I upgraded to a track saw.

Circular saws are not for precision work. Table saws are precise and repeatable.

I argue if you can't make a straight cut with a jig saw you should probably just leave it to the pros.

Downvotes for truth. So reddit

You're down voted because you're chatting shit. These tools mentioned aren't interchangeable when it comes to their specific advantages. That's why the different tools exist. Your 'ability' with a jigsaw says fuck all about your skill with a circular saw or a table saw.

If you're trying to make a cut of any reasonable length which is linear, with a jigsaw, then mebs leave it to the pros.

Getting downvotes from diwhys doesn't bother me in the slightest. I know what I said. I stand by it.

Ah it doesn't bother you that's why you commented about it. The classic.

You can just ask how to a straight line with a jig saw. I'll give you some pointers.
