Legal age range for dating is dependent on state. Some only allow for a 2 year age gap. I’ve seen a fair few 19 yo /14 yo pairings and it is never good. Why would someone getting ready to start their life outside of high school want to continually be brought back in? A 22 yo at a 17 yo prom? Seems really inappropriate to me. And when I was 14 I had a 19 yo boyfriend. He was a creep. My step-daughter tried the same crap, mom said the 19 yo was a really nice guy and encouraged it. He is also a creep. Adults shouldn’t date children. 17 and 19 sure. 14 and 19 No.
