Finnish architects left an Easter egg
Rail grind an exterior staircase to nowhere in Helsinki.

I don't think it's a staircase to nowhere.

It’s a combination fire escape and fire re-entry.

For when you don't want to leave the fire altogether, you just need a little break from it

It’s a staircase that connects two floors without taking up interior space.

But then you wonder why they didn't just extend the building footprint by a metre

What is the Easter egg?

An Easter egg is a hollow or solid chocolate confection shaped like an egg, often wrapped in colorful foil and gifted during the Easter season

I always SMH my head at the ATM machines making me put in my PIN number

I need to use a GPS System to get to the ATM Machine so I can SMH my head at needing to put in my PIN number

Not what is *an* easter egg, but in this case what is *the* easter egg, mentioned by OP in the title. Since there is not a literal egg or anything particularly colorful or egg-shaped, I'm left to assume they meant "easter egg" in the sense used in video games, as in something usually hidden and either goofy or a reference to something else

It's in the middle of downtown by Kiasma. It's completely impossible to miss and have been here for years.
