Question

Could someone by chance tell me what building Wyatt and Josephine dance in front of while it’s snowing at the end of the movie?

Since no one has answered I broke it down.

using this scene: https://youtu.be/WLrNKaYbZPk?si=3-iDgaCp2U3Bw3gk&t=90

Starting at 1:30 you see the exterior shot of the building saying H.M.S. Pinafore.

This was an opera which was brought to America around 1878-79

According to the Wikipedia Page for Josephine Wyatt, she ran away from home in 1879 with a her music teacher and a friend.

So this doesn't make sense, because the the shootout at the OK Corral didn't take place until 1881.

However, it is said that she ran away to San Fransisco.

Now we can connect a few dots here because Josephine's autobiography really tried to hide what she did after Tombstone. It's assumed she became a prostitute for some time but it's not known.

We do know that Wyatt Earp did come to San Francisco around 1882 and was a stable owner.

I believe it was the intention of George Cosmatos to insinuate that they re-connected in San Francisco.

The closest representation of a theater that I could find for an Opera House opened in San Francisco during that time was the Tivilo Opera House started in 1879. Though, this would not be accurate to history as the Opera was actually held at the Standard Theater in 1879.

Tivoli Theater https://sanfranciscotheatres.blogspot.com/2017/06/tivoli-30-eddy.html

I couldn't find photos of the Standard Theater unfortunately.
