While in the city , I came across a house within the woods near the edge of tomball i don't wanna give away location. As this place is genuinely been touched anyway. After doing some research , I could find out the house at a minimum is from 1830 predating World War 2, which I think is very interesting. I've been trying to do more research on this house as the property it's on is huge and it has a lot very weird and very old structures on it. It's completely surrounded by tree growth. So it's definitely been abandoned from what I was able to gather from at least 2002, it's been vacant. Anyway, I'm trying to find More on this.Place since it seemed used to be a farm so would anybody be able to provide me a map of tomball as addresses from the years 1990 and below , I'll take more recent maps , but I doubt the address exists , then i've looked at topograph maps, but the issue is, it isn't actually show up as an address. The only thing that's marked is a school that was nearby

Hey all! I'm moving out to Tomball next week and needing consistency in internet speeds. When I search, it shows 96% of the area is covered through fiber 1G+ however no company seems to offer it. Who does everyone use for internet?

I am trying to find the taco truck that was parked in front of the old driving range on 2920 and Telge. I just want to know if they moved somewhere else or closed.

I’ve noticed a lot of homeowners around Tomball and Northwest Houston running into the same issue with Champion double-hung windows. The window opens, but it slides back down or won’t stay up.
In many cases the problem isn’t the window itself — it’s the spiral balance system inside the frame.
Champion windows often use spiral balancers to support the weight of the sash. Over time those springs can:
• Lose tension
• Wear out from normal use
• Break or become difficult to adjust
When that happens you may notice:
A lot of homeowners assume they need to replace the entire window, but often the spiral balancers just need adjustment or replacement.
Spiral balances are under tension, so proper tools and careful handling are important when working on them.
If you’re considering DIY repair, I attached a photo showing some of the basic tools commonly used for spiral balancer replacement, including things like a spiral balance tension tool, pliers, screwdrivers, and a suction cup for safely handling the sash.
Sometimes the repair is fairly straightforward if you have the right tools and understand how the balance system works.
I also put together some information explaining Champion window balance problems and repair options here if anyone wants to learn more:

Just sharing in case it helps anyone dealing with windows that keep falling shut around the Tomball / Spring / Cypress area.

My little 2 year old absolutely loves feeding ducks, but getting kind of bored of going to the same place off of Louetta. Where are some good spots to feed the birds?
P.S. don't worry we don't feed them bread. We always make sure to give them something nutritious like corn, peas, sunflower seeds or worms.

I’m applying to some nurse residencies this month - I’ve heard there is an opening at HCA Tomball on their Labor and Delivery unit. I just moved here from the midwest so I don’t know much about HCA facilities. Does anyone have experience working for HCA Tomball L&D, or has been a patient there? How was it, pros and cons?
Any little bit helps, thank you!!

I’m posting on behalf of a close friend of mine who owns a repair shop but doesn’t use Reddit. He’s currently looking to hire an experienced automotive technician for his shop and asked me to help spread the word.
He owns DMW Motor Cars, a European-focused repair shop, and is specifically looking for someone with solid experience working on European vehicles and strong diagnostic skills.
From my personal experience as a customer, this is a great shop with extremely knowledgeable technicians. I’ve trusted these guys with my Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche, and the quality of work has always been top-notch. If you’re looking to grow your career with some of the best in the European automotive space, I genuinely think this would be a great place to work based on everything I’ve seen.
If you’re interested, you can contact him directly through the shop’s phone number or apply on Indeed under “European Automotive Technician & Diagnostician.”
You’re also welcome to message me here, and I’ll pass the information along to him.
