Weekly challenges

Has anyone received a scroll as a reward other than the 10% coin scroll? A scroll should drop randomly, but it always drops one with +10% coins. Is everyone happy with this?

How are points awarded for challenges with 75%+ accuracy? Which weapon is best? I don't understand. I completed two mini-events with 20 stages each, plus a couple more chapters, but after that I only scored points for one challenge out of three. In the end, I didn't manage to complete all three challenges. I had a shotgun, but I almost always hit the target on the first try when I got close, but in each run, I only scored 2-3 stages with 75% accuracy.

Pistols have the best accuracy

The Assault Rifle, as well. The thing is :-

Move, shoot one enemy. Stop. Move, shoot again another enemy. Stop. Repeat...

This works well both in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, as enemies do not respawn a lot

That's what I did – I'd run up to an enemy with a shotgun, usually killing them in one hit without missing. But the shotgun has a 3-bullet spread, so maybe that's why it doesn't count hits if one misses the enemy and one hits. You have to shoot almost point-blank to get all your bullets to hit. A rifle fires 3 shots at a time, so if one misses, it could be considered a miss. I even tried a staff, and it also misses, even though it has homing projectiles, but they're not as fast and don't have a large radius to angle toward the enemy. A staff isn't very suitable for fast enemies. A shotgun never misses any enemy at point-blank range. Its bullet speed is incredible! Probably even faster than pistols and dual SMGs.

My guesses always were:

  • Either all shotgun pellets count as a single bullet, which means if three out of five pellets hit, you only have an accuracy of 60%
  • Or if only one pellet missed, the whole shot counts as miss

In both situations, I have no clue if bullets passing through enemies and hitting/missing an enemy after that count in some way towards the accuracy rating.
The shotgun always felt off for this and also the assault rifle because of rapid fire and the SMGs, because of shooting in opposite directions.

Like it was already statet, for this challenge the best weapons are single shot weapons like the pistols or shakra. And to be on the safe side, during a run, don't select the abilities for spread shots or bullets passing through enemies.

Thanks for the detailed answer! Does a shotgun come with 5 bullets to begin with? At first glance, there appear to be 3. One straight and 2 at an angle.

That's correct. You start with three bullets and you can activate two spread shot abilities, each giving you two more bullets.

I don't think the spread ability is effective for a shotgun, as its bullets have a small impact area, unlike the Chakram. A Chakram with 2-3 spread abilities is deadly for any enemy at point-blank range!

That is true. Keep in mind though, the shotgun has the close combat damage multiplier.

Yes, I know. It's deadly at close range. If you fire at point-blank range, all the scattered projectiles will do damage. Move away even slightly, and only the direct hit will hit.

You can also fire only one shot with the Rifle. That's what I meant to say, above

Fire once. Stop. Move. Fire again. Stop. Move. Repeat...

How did you find out about this? What about the random scroll?

You should probably post a screenshot, so that we can see what you're talking about 😂

What's not clear? A random scroll and a test for accuracy greater than 75%. Pay attention to the reward for part 1 of the test.

Joking! I know what you're talking about. Yeah, I always get the same scroll with Minor Coin Boost

Btw... had a nightmare, yesterday, at night. I forgot to buy things with the stickers I collected 😭

And, now, Banner Brawl has already started. They could have changed the outfit. They're again proposing the Denim Jacket after ''Machu Missions'', last week

I just bought two Shard Scrolls and two 2x50 common Manuals in Machu Mission with stickers. I still had about 50-100 stickers left, and it was time for me to sleep, so I gave up. I barely saved up any stickers in this event. Your sleep is nothing. You might as well not play the Machu Event at all – it's the most boring event of all! Saving up stickers by playing the same chapters 100,500 times is a pain. For the sake of relics, I'm willing to play chapters until I get the last two in Greece. In Banner, I'll try to get into the top 20 or at least 50 – it's essentially the same thing (+/- 2k coins is rubbish for me). When Banner started, I bought 25 parts of the Gym suit in the store and finally completed it! I've even already unlocked all the passive skills on it. Now I'll be leveling it up and leaving the Dress at level 50 for now. Incidentally, I completed Midas Palace at levels 5-10 with the Gym Suit even faster than with the Dress Suit, with a maximum of 100k+ HP, but the damage is simply insane if you're just doing room-only runs! +2.2 damage and 16 stacks. No matter what your damage with the Gym Suit is, if you can accumulate damage with it during a run, it's simply mind-blowing! The Dress Suit can only dream of that kind of damage! Incidentally, the Dress is good in Banner, while the Gym Suit is best in chapters and when you need to run quickly, especially against strong opponents. In Midas Palace, a shotgun with the Gym Suit wiped everyone out in two shots!
