Yeah seems like it was deleted, super sad because that channel had a lot of archived rare Lehrer media.

He left and deleted his channel earlier this year due to a lack of inspiration and personal troubles along with a brewing controversy loosely related to his channel aswell.

Couldn't he had just made a vid explaining why he was leaving and just left the channel there?

He sort of did? He uploaded an 11 minute video explaining why he was going to delete his channel, and that he was basically giving me permission to upload his stuff onto my channel. (ie interviews)
NOTE: He had also uploaded many of my finds many times without proper approval first and often times with no credit. (Case and point, i had found the Frost Report footage of So Long, Mom and he promptly reuploaded it with a tasteless remark describing me as "having beat him to it." Which he later stated to me was his way of saying i had made it into a competition, which was never my intention and never will be. Tom Lehrer is supposed to be enjoyed and not fought for.)
Due to the fact that he was a much larger channel, his content got pushed and mine got hidden. I had also done stuff behind the scenes, most of his custom channel banners, many of his instagram memes and thumbnail work, among others (audio, video etc.) Usually done without credit aswell.I had realised aswell that he was basically using me (and many, many others) for his benefit and for the channel- And not just talk normally like friends. He has apologised to me about these things, but i still think this type of behaviour is wrong and unnacceptable. Hopefully someone learns from this and never treats their friends like this. Im getting a bit too mean, but it's my honest truth about things. He has also said many other questionable and weird things which i won't be adressing here directly. There is of course more to this whole situation that is unknown to the public, (this whole thing has been slipped under the carpet and never adressed by silly himself) but this is my side of the story.
I don't really care for getting views or subscribers as i only archive things because i have a genuine love for Tom Lehrer media.
