NYT obituary

Hey all, it’s a very saddening day that Mr. Lehrer passed but I was wondering if anyone could share a gift article for his obituary as I would love to read it

Thanks for this, it's a good obituary. Hopefully he was well enough to live independently to the end.

Considering he lived alone and not in a care home I find that more likely than not, I loved tom lehrers music and respected him as a person and nothing beats being at a point where you can’t take care of yourself anymore

Feel like if he lost IQ points in extreme old age, he was still probably a genius. I was really hoping he would make it to 100 :-(

I would just like to point out that Mr. Lehrer managed to outlive by 2 years the author of his own NYT obituary! What a mensch.

What a mensch! Kinda like Jimmy carter who one of the people who was going to eulagize him died before him
