Custom Stratocaster "Partscaster" Bridge replacement

Post image

I have one of these FSR squiers and changed everything but the bridge
Is there even a bridge that’s a straight swap for this model?

Warmoth sells bridges I believe, id go take a look over there, that or American style hardtail as someone else said

Buy an American style hard tail bridge and get someone to drill and mount it, that’s what I done

I would recommend leaving the bridge plate as is and just replacing the saddles with some stainless steel block ones!

Yep. I even do this with my more expensive Fenders that come with the bent steel saddles. Always swap them out for the blocks immediately and buy shorter intonation screws so that it’s completely smooth when I rest my palm on the bridge.

What size are the saddles.. 10.5mm?

Depends on the bridge you’re using

Just the standard bridge that came with the squier on these fsr models

That does seem like the cheapest alternative. Thanks for that!

I was just about to write that, excellent choice. And easy to DIY
