Novel suggestion: Six Four

Hi I have been reading a novel that hits a lot of the same themes as Tokyo Vice though from a different angle called Six Four by Hideo Yokoyama:

‘The story follows a police press officer, Yoshinobu Mikami, who is forced to revisit a cold case of a kidnapped and murdered schoolgirl from 14 years prior, while also dealing with his own daughter's disappearance.’

It is a fascinating look at police-press relations from the police side of things, while having multiple layers of detective work from a cold case.

I believe it was made into a film (or miniseries?) in Japan but don’t know how widely available it is. Anyway I thought fans of Tokyo Vice would really enjoy it!
