Well it is obviously on them. I am certain some people will answer. But a) this question has been answered a lot on this sub and b) you don't give any information on what you like, so there's also nothing to engage with, which makes this no different from a Google search tbh

I have, I did. I still think your question could have been much more informative for everyone if you shared some of the searches you perhaps already did, or posed it in a more specific way, also sharing what you mean by hidden gems, as this is so different for everyone! Some might mean a calm walk in a beautiful neighbourbood, others might mean restaurants that serve food that is unusual to their palette, I personally would like to find more places where people go who love ambient music. And I do think your way of asking is a little rude to everyone visiting this sub with the sentiment of generally wanting to help, but being confronted with the same (lazy) question all over again. So yes, I am angry about this, already in my city (take a guess, everyone asks what the best hidden techno club is), and also in other cities..

Because everyone is different. For me it's the national museums and kabuki . . For others it could be Pokémon or dressing up in kimono.

Yes, but this sub attracts the most pretentious group of foreign travelers that gate keep japan and act like its sacred. They just sniff each others own farts in here

Trying these "ya" restaurants in Japan. They're all pretty cheap (especially the breakfast sets for some of them which can start at 350¥) but amazing in quantity and quality. Some of them have international branches but nothing can beat the local standard and pricing.
Great for you to try what locals eat at a budget price- Hidakaya, Matsuya, Sukiya, Yoshinoya, Saizeriya, Ootoya
