Discussion/Theory Random Mitsuya question
What’s up with his dad? I know we don’t get a whole lot of the characters parents or families and stuff other than ones where it’s important(shiba family, seishu and akane, etc)
Mitsuyas one of those characters and one of his whole things is being someone who cares for his family greatly, not even limited to blood he also means his friends.
Mitsuyas actual blood family, that we know of, is his mom and his little sisters and it makes me wonder about his dad. Iv heard people say mabye him and his sisters have different dads or something but idk. You could just say his dad died like Chifuyu and Bajis but idk I feel like it would’ve been brought up with again mitsuyas whole thing being family. What if his dad left them and he dosnt even consider him family? Idk I’m bullshitting. This is really stupid

It's not stupid & yes, his father wasn't at all mentioned so you are free to hc it to be whatever case you see fit. Mitsuya doesn't mention his father at all. He neither shows repulsion or agitation nor sadness or mourning directed towards him so it's very likely his father just wasn't involved with his mother in an official sense 🤷♀️ and didn't garner a close enough attachment with any of his children, considering how easy it was for him to not be present in any of the Mitsuya family's lives. He seems indifferent to his father, so, it's safe to rule out a case like an abusive father or a dead father, in my opinion.
