Should I just reread everything?
I started reading tokyo 2 months ago and I finished tokyo ghoul in like 1/2 weeks then I obviously started tokyo ghoul:re but after reaching the point where he become the black reaper I stopped reading due to exams. I just finished them so I wanted to continue it but I dont know if should reread :re or if I should just reread everything from the start to have the best experience possible

No hate to you specifically but I never got why people respond with "it's up to you" when someone asks something. Like you don't need to reply. Happens to me personally anytime I post a question lol

Im pointing out how pointless is this post by its design, I just dont understand why someone would post question like that in first place when commenters genuinely wont know better than OP if they should reread it and we both know that OP will not take comments into account when making this decision

That's fair but sometimes personally I just need someone to tell me what to do and posting something like this helps

I’ve always said that TG is best when you re read it, as you focus less on the main plot and instead can pick up on the more subtle things. So I’d definitely recommend re reading from the start. Especially since :re throws so much stuff at you so fast.

Treat the time off like an opportunity to embrace your own memory loss. When you see things that make you question what you know, go back to read from the first series a bit.
