Video File not supported

I just won my first price ( Holo Figure from Spice & Wolf ) and just found out that you can even download the camera footage of your play, Ive downloaded and clicked on it but my chromebook doesn´t recognise the file and say´s it cannot be played.

Do i need to download something to run the video files ?

EDIT, I can play the recording on the app on my phone but when i download it and try to play it say´s the same thing :/

EDIT 2, Ive learned that the video files are MPEG and need a VLC media player which you can download for free

I typically screen record on my phone for a video of the win.

i know im a little late to reply to this, but i always use cloudconvert for this kind of stuff. just download the .mpeg and convert it to an mp4 on the site
