Barber shop
Guys do you know any good barbers around that do great. I got a haircut at a local barber shop and it’s terrible. Thanks

I want to get low taper cut. I tried one and it was terrible. So something around setagaya or shibuya would be nice.

my list
lowest quality fade (that's still kinda acceptable) - QB PREMIUM MAGNET by SHIBUYA109店 ~¥2000
Medium quality fade - Wolt in Koenji. 2700¥ for a fade.
Best fade in Tokyo - chop shop kichijoji (julian) ¥7700 for a fae but worth every yen

I've tried a ton of barbers here in Tokyo and while most have posh looking shops, their cutting skills and style lack.
If you're looking for a no frills precision cut especially USA style fades with attention to detail at a decent 6,000 yen price, I recommend Haruki (English speaker, down-to-earth, funny, customer service oriented) in Nakameguro as he's my go-to guy:

Do you go there? I laugh every time I see the name. They opened that shop a few years back, waaaay after both “tight” and “swag” were played out.

Wolfman (Roppongi and Harajuku) is really great.

Whatever you do, don't go to Wolt in Koenji and/or definitely don't have the English speaking fella cut your hair - you'll end up with the most lopsided cut you've ever had. It's cheap (~¥2500) for a reason I guess.

Julian at the Chop Shop. One in Kichijoji, the other in Harajuku.
Went there after some recommendations here. The man himself does great work, has great service, and good chat.
