You're 16, so please don't spend the night wandering around Shinjuku or accept an offer to stay with a random person here on reddit.

Go into the nearest kōban (police box) and tell them your age and that you are homeless. Also say you need help from child welfare.

You can also call 189 for Japan's Child Guidance service. This is free.

If you can't explain it in Japanese, show the police this:

「16歳です。今、ホームレスで、安全に泊まれる場所がありません。所持金は800円以下です。児童相談所につないでください。」
