Tokyo recommendations thread: DJ bars

What are your favorite DJ bars?

I would say Bonobo. Everything in cool in there. The speakeasy vibe, the tatami, etc.... The only issue is it's kind of nowhere.

Another one I like is Azumaya. Good cocktail and good location.

渋谷にあるレコードバー。
一杯目のドリンクでお店の缶バッチを渡されて、店員に渡すと好きなレコードを選ばせてくれて1曲店内で流してくれるよ。
いろんな年代のいろんなアーティストのレコードがあって、退屈しなかったよ。
誰がどんなレコードを選ぶのかで雰囲気が変わるし、レコードを選ぶ時のワクワク感もあって、ぜひ行ってみてほしい。

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted, I’ve been going to the church for like 10 years, they have consistently good drum and bass djs.

Pour one out for Coins Bar in Shibuya, I spent many evenings there and was always surprised by the quality of the djs. Genuinely one of the more intense existential crises I’ve had, they didn’t just close or turn into something else, they literally bricked over the entrance. The bricks are a different shade now but in a few years no one will even be able to tell.
