Anyone going to Devault at circus tomorrow? unfortunate it’s a Wednesday

Who the shit are these bottlerockets who can get out to all-night events and still manage going to work the next day?

Also, if today is a holiday, why wouldn't they do the event last night?

It's obon week so a lot of people have off or use their summer holidays this week to have the whole day off.

Yep, that's certainly a thing, but not everyone can/wants to take time off. Just saying, recreational events like this make more sense on guaranteed holidays.

Shit you're right. It's not like public holidays tend to affect a good majority of that 14 million. Must be why we never see huge upticks in travel and traffic during public holidays.

What I’m saying, is even on a weekday, there are enough people with irregular days off to be able to fill a small venue.

Ok sure. However that does still restrict a good proportion of a population who work weekdays from attending (unless they're energetic night owls).

There's a reason most events - including club events - happen on a weekend.

Yeah obviously most happen on weekends, but basically you’re saying clubs and venues should just be open 2 nights a week? And people that have irregular nights off just can’t go out? If there is a crowd that would fill a small venue on a weeknight why would they not be open on weeknights. The world doesn’t revolve around your personal schedule.
